small update

wtf is that? little crabs? the one on the right = o____o

Why yes. Yes they are. I recall seeing them on a random blog a while ago, and to my great delight, happened upon them the other day in the local (korean) grocery!

terrific packaging, neat 'look' to this, and small bite size crabs all lead to a food fun factor only maybe rivaled by dunkaroos or gummy vitamins.

How do they taste? Not particularly great. Quick googling tells me these are a snack eaten in japan, mainly while drinking. I guess like beer nuts or pretzels to us. But miniscule crabs. Taste very similar to dried squid, if you've ever had, and leave a gritty sandy feeling in your mouth. Nice crunch though.
