What I'm Eating

It's so hot, all I want to eat is berries and cream. Trying to eat the most nutrient dense food on a budget has been hard. The way I have figured out how to do it is to spend money on the most nutrient dense foods to get the highest quality, and then go cheap on protein to fill you up. There is a local farm that raises grass-fed cows that I have been buying organ meats from. The difference in taste alone is worth it. I get liver, heart, and knuckle bones from them. I get eggs from my own chickens. Where I save money is buying muscle meat in bulk. Costco has 10lb boxes of 80/10 burger patties for $2.75/lb, and chicken as low as $1/lb (but I don't eat much chicken these days, it's mainly for the dogs).  My main food group is beef. I try to have beef and one of my nutrient dense foods with every meal. Cheese is something I'm trying to cut back on, but it has been hard to let go of it.
